Terms of Use (cowlick)

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of cowlick (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

The App is a small, shared room app for quiet reading, studying, hobbies, and work. No account creation is required — the App uses anonymous sign-in only. See our separate Privacy Policy for how the App handles information.

2. Prohibited content

You may not include any of the following in text visible to other users, such as your display name or the title of what you're working on:

Harassment, abuse, or threats directed at others
Discriminatory content or hate speech
Sexual content
Personal information about yourself or others (real names, contact details, addresses, etc.)
Advertising, solicitation, or spam
Impersonation of another person, organization, or the App's operator
Any other content that is unlawful or contrary to public order and morals

We have zero tolerance for violations of the above.

3. Reports and enforcement

If you believe another user's name, title, or behavior violates these Terms, you can report them using the in-app reporting feature.
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours in principle.
If a violation is confirmed, we may require a change to the offending name/title, or restrict (ban) the user from joining rooms, with or without prior notice.

4. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.

5. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms without prior notice, to reflect changes in law or new App features. We will notify you in the App of any material changes. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

6. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
